Hi Again, Were off again. Wales
was a good day out. Shame you all missed it. The weather was a little blowy, but in the sun it didn't make a lot of difference with a dry suit on. I broke yet another mask strap, Rob misplaced his computer, but hey, thats a murphys dive!!! Getting in the water was great, surface temp at 12 degrees, bottom temp 9 degrees and later that would seem to be any where you went. We were in good company as there were loads of divers, and dogs and people just ambling along enjoying the sun and the bank holiday. Even spoke to free diver who wanted to learn to dive, so I informed her of the options. The
SUC lads arrived as arranged, took out two newish divers, and Frank
in wet suit!!!, but he survived, and after a little 'SIT' and some
coffee, we were off, after freeing the boats from the quickly receeding
water line. Rob & I were basically told we were first in!! Nice one. We didnt need a second invite. After kitting up, we had a nice decent from the anchor line straight on to the wreck. The vis was not as good as I have had, but there were a few fish of some decent size, but the line was snagging up and eventuallu we ran out of line (50 mtrs). There was loads of light so no real problem. After 30 mins, we were just getting chilly so decided to head back, did our deco at 5 and out. All in all a good couple of dives and nice too wet the head again. All the rest of Murphys were sorely missed, but maybe next time. Any way some pics!!!!
Anyway,
thats all for now. Keep using the forum, and keep on diving. So all you Murphyites, lets get it together. Rememberances
to Arthur, who passed away 2 years ago this month.
Keith Secretary.
